Who we are
Kitchen Design Academy was founded by Valentin Tinc in 2012, and it is amongst the very few international online schools, offering a broad range of courses for kitchen and bathroom design students. The school is registered with ASIC Australia, and under the name Kitchen Design Academy.
There is no prior learning required, hence if you have a passion for kitchens and you would like to know more about, this course is right for you. There is no age or other restrictions for enroling in this course. We welcome students from Australia, New Zealand, Europe, America, Canada, Asia, Africa. Also, there are no enrolment dates: you can enrol at any time and tailor the pace to suit you and your life.

Kitchen Design Academy Online prepares and up skills professionals for careers in the kitchen industry as designers and kitchen planners. Specialized kitchen design skills and knowledge are developed through the learning program. The content of the program is written with respect to industry standards, requirements and values. Graduates will contribute to an increased quality of kitchen design and ultimately to the quality of life itself

valentin Tinc
Tinc is a professional designer whose career spans for more than 22 years, covering various projects such as interiors, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, objects, art. His experience has been enriched by moving from Europe to New Zealand and later on to Melbourne, Australia. The cultural variety and diversity encountered throughout his journey, influenced and informed his work. Since 1989 he exhibited in more than 50 art and design exhibitions in Germany, Romania, New Zealand. He also received the first price in Dulux Color Award 2004, Category Creative Expression, and was Highly Commended in Best Design Award 2004, both in New Zealand.
He taught for 9 years of interior design in Christchurch and Auckland New Zealand and Melbourne Australia. The range of lectures and subjects he delivered cover: Kitchen design, Space planning, Trompe L’Oeil, Wallcoverings Design, Perspective drawing, 20/20, History of Decoration and design. Interior design Studio, Design methods and techniques, History context for Bachelor of Design program.
